RAINBOW HILLS

Above the Owens Valley in Eastern California, a beam of sunlight breaks through the clouds to illuminate falling rain and create an ephemeral rainbow in the foothills of the White Mountains. I've seen a lot of amazing sunsets and incredible light over the years, but this one stands out to me as one of the most unique that I've ever seen.
